FIBD OFF OFF: The 4th “Prix Couilles au Cul” for exceptional artistic courage went to Jamonyqueso (artist) and Chino with Tenso Tenso (authors) (Equatorial Guinea) for “Cauchemar d’Obi” published by L’Harmattan BD, Paris.
Cauchemar d’Obi is an acrimonious satire on Teodoro Obiang Nguema, president of Equatorial Guinea since 40 years, and the consequences of dictatorship for ordinary citizens. The award was received by comic artist and cartoonist Adjim Danngar substituting the three awardees.
