Seminar “Art, Visuality and Social Research. Tales from the field”

Laboratorio of Sociologia Visuale (Genova) and Observatori de la Vida Quotidiana (Barcelona) are organising the event Art, Visuality and Social Research. Tales from the field, next Thursday 11 February, 17:00-19:00.

Visual Social Research Group organizes a series of seminars with the aim to go beyond the boundaries of social sciences and to integrate different forms of expression.

Prof. Monika Salzbrunn, PI from the project ERC Artivism. Art and Artivism: Creativity and Performance as Subversive Forms of Political Expression in Super-Divers Cities, will share some insights from her research project in her presentation “Researching artivism between everyday life and events”.

The event is conceived as a dialogue promoted by Laboratorio of Sociologia Visuale (Genova) and Observatori de la Vida Quotidiana (Barcelona) and will be moderated by: Luca Queirolo Palmas (University of Genoa).
